Mishimoto Performance Air Intake
Replacing the stock paper filter and air box with a much larger cotton filter considerably increases the potential airflow. Cotton is a much less restrictive filter material. Oiled cotton is used because the oil helps it capture dust and moisture. The mandrel bent aluminium pipework helps keep system velocity up ensuring torque right through the rev range. Where supplied, the air box helps insulated the intake from the heat of the engine bay and avoid heat soak.
